What is a PLC control panel?

A PLC control panel is an enclosure containing a programmable logic controller, its I/O modules, power supply, protection and terminals. It reads field sensors, runs a program, and controls plant machinery accordingly. It is also called a PLC panel, a programmable logic controller panel or an automation control panel.

What is the difference between a PLC panel and a relay logic panel?
